Borderlands Brewery started in 2019 when Stuart, a local man, decided to take his love of brewing to the next level. When the business rapidly became popular with locals, Stuart’s family encouraged him to continue to expand the company. His son, Fergus, joined the brewery in 2023 and is working to continue the growth of the brewery.

We are a proper craft brewery with zero automation. The entire process is authentically manual, with each small batch beer made with love by Stuart and Fergus themselves. This is the traditional way that real craft beer was made. As a nanobrewery, our processes are even more authentic than a microbrewery. Our hands-on process allows us to assure the quality of every single beer that leaves the door.

Borderlands is committed to being involved in the local community, seeing the importance of the circular economy within the UK and communities and raising money for local clubs and causes. The collaboration of local businesses and the survival of the local rural economy is something that means a lot to us. You’ll even see Stuart’s friendly face zipping around town delivering the beer himself!
